Anthony performed at the Strand Cinema last Thursday night for the launch of the East Belfast Arts Strategy. His role was as 'curator' for an hour-long showcase of talent with connections to the East of the city, so the night featured Anthony as director of the 'house band' - himself on guitar, Peter McKinney on drums, John McCullough on piano and Conor McCreanor on bass. The featured performers were Anthony, Ken Haddock, Gareth Dunlop and Kaz Hawkins, with everyone joining on stage for a closing rendition of Tupelo Honey by Van Morrison, east Belfast's most revered export.
